This project has two parts:
Use the fingertip detection code already working with Depthimage_G_HT dataset and make it work with the NTU dataset with the depth image folders only. ( The depth information is stored in text form in the NTU dataset. You need to do depth thresholding to extract the hand region only)
Make sure the [login to view URL]() function working properly.
I am attaching both the datasets. Run-on Depthimage_G_HT if you want to see how it works.
I am attaching a short NTU pre-processed data consisting around 20 images for your reference.
This data is processed by doing depth thresholding on the depth text files inside the NTU dataset and mapping the coordinates of the thresholded image consisting only the hand region on the RGB images to filter the RGB portion of the region of interest ( hand region only).
I need the whole data preprocessed like this. Please look at the nomenclature of the short dataset. You have to maintain the nomenclature like that.
For step1 also you can make the dataset with the same kind of nomenclature. That is how the computation time will be less.
