There are different lenses with which to look at society. The three nineteenth-century giants laid the foundations of sociology.
*Marx: conflict/society/macro (structures)
*Durkheim: consensus/society/macro
*Weber: conflict & consensus/society & individuals/macro & micro (individuals & communities).
Select one or more of these thinkers and apply his/their ideas and concepts to the three attached articles (Sociologists as outliers, Is equality feasible? and A sociology of bubbles). In each, make direct references to the thinker and why the articles attached relates to his ideas. HINT: USE CONFLICT/CONSENSUS OR SOCIETY (MACRO)/INDIVIDUAL (MICRO).
